Lisbon Jewellery Biennial
The 3rd Lisbon Jewellery Biennial begins on 19 September 2026!
This year main topic is Coexistance. With this topic, the Biennial seeks to reflect on how jewellery expresses and represents the web of relationships between humans and the Earth’s ecology in its broadest sense. The third edition focusses on an urgently relevant theme: the ecological survival and the place of the human in the 21st century. Artists explore utopian spaces and alternative realities, combining fiction and spirituality to suggest new and radical forms of coexistence.
Marta Costa Reis, General Manager and Curator of the 3rd Lisbon Jewellery Biennial, gives us insights about the history and the program. The shares her thoughts about Coexistance, Beauty and the impact jewellery can have in today’s times.
